Muffins that made 18 staff members at a Dallas-area high school ill contained the active ingredient found in marijuana, Dallas County health department officials said Thursday.
Two suspects have been nabbed.
The Dallas FBI filed assault cases on Wednesday against two 18-year-olds in connection with drug-laced muffins that sickened 18 staff members at Lake Highlands High School in northeast Dallas.
Robert Tellini and Ian McConnell Walker, both of Dallas, have each been charged with five counts of assault on a public servant, a third-degree felony, authorities said.
The case will now be prosecuted by the Dallas County District Attorney’s office, according to a news release from the FBI
