Bad News For Democrats

The economic forecast is looking up:

The U.S. economy will continue to grow in the second half of 2006, the nation's purchasing and supply management executives concluded in a semi-annual economic survey released on Tuesday.

Manufacturing revenue is expected to grow 6.6 percent in 2006, while non-manufacturing revenue is expected to be up 6.0 percent during that period, the Institute for Supply Management said.

The ISM survey released in December 2005 had anticipated manufacturing revenue to be up 5.4 percent for 2006 and non-manufacturing revenue to be up 6.6 percent for 2006.
